# GaugeReel

> GaugeReel is a cloud SaaS by plAIy Zone Pte. Ltd. that automatically overlays sports telemetry (speed, heart rate, power, cadence, GPS) from Strava, Garmin, or DJI .SRT files onto GoPro and DJI Action camera footage, then renders a downloadable video. No video editing software is required.

GaugeReel is currently in private beta. Public access is via waitlist.

## What it does

- Pulls activity data from Strava (OAuth) or accepts uploaded Garmin .FIT, .GPX, or DJI Action .SRT sidecar files
- Accepts GoPro and DJI MP4 or MOV video uploads (resumable TUS protocol)
- Auto-syncs telemetry to video timeline using the camera's UTC timestamp, refined by GPS cross-correlation when both tracks are available; manual time offset (-60s to +60s) available as fallback
- Renders activity-specific overlay themes (Paddle, Ride, Run, Minimal, Performance Lab)
- Outputs 720p, 1080p, or original-resolution MP4 with telemetry baked in
- Returns a 1-hour signed download link when processing finishes

Currently free during beta (waitlist required). Planned tiers:
- Free: 1 video/month, 720p, watermark
- Pro: $9.99/month, unlimited, up to 4K
- Pay-per-use: $2.99/video

## How to use

1. Visit https://gaugereel.app and join the waitlist (or sign in if invited).
2. Connect your Strava account or upload a .FIT, .GPX, or .SRT telemetry file.
3. Upload your GoPro or DJI MP4/MOV footage.
4. Pick an activity-specific overlay theme and adjust time offset if needed.
5. Wait for cloud rendering; download the finished video from the dashboard.
